Locked Door Policy
At The Coastal Cat Resort and Spa, the safety and security of our feline guests is our top priority. To minimize the risk of escape and ensure our staff can devote their uninterrupted attention to your cherished companions, we maintain a strict Locked Door Policy.
- All doors leading outside will always remain locked outside of designated drop-off and pick-up hours.
- Only authorized staff members will have access to keys or entry codes.
We understand that cats can be quick and unpredictable. By keeping doors locked during grooming sessions and outside of drop-off/pick-up times, we create a secure environment where our staff can focus solely on providing your cat with the best possible care, free from the worry of potential escapes.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and stress-free environment for all our feline guests.
Veterinary Care
At The Coastal Cat Resort and Spa, your cat's well-being is our utmost priority. We treat every feline guest as if they were our own, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention. In the unlikely event that an issue arises during your absence, we kindly request that you provide us with an emergency contact number. This could be a trusted relative or friend who can either reach you directly or make decisions on your behalf regarding your cat's care.
Should your cat become ill during their stay or grooming appointment, we will immediately isolate them in a designated quarantine area and promptly notify you or your emergency contact unless your cat requires immediate urgent medical care. We will then seek guidance from a veterinarian and follow their instructions to ensure your cat receives the best possible care.
To facilitate prompt and appropriate action in such situations, we ask that you complete our Consent of Veterinary Care form upon arrival for each boarding stay. This ensures that we have the most up-to-date emergency contact and medical directive information. For grooming appointments, we will verify your emergency contact details at every drop-off.
Please note that any expenses incurred for veterinary care will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
